As a vegetarian/vegan, what is your opinion on plant-based food from BK, McS, etc.?

I don't know how to deal with it myself, because the fact that things might be cooked on the same surfaces bothers me. But I also don't know if that's an exaggeration.

Maybe there are people who work in Bk or Mcs who can tell you exactly what's going on in the kitchen 🙂

And that’s why base stuff isn’t vegan, let alone vegetarian. Because they are grilled or fried 99% on the same surfaces, where the meats are also prepared.

That’s why I’m not buying anything in the fast food buds. Apart from the fact that the price is too high for me and that stuff doesn’t even taste to me. I prefer to put my burgers or nuggets at home, which then costs me a fraction of what I would have to pay there and it tastes even better

I haven’t been there for almost 20 years since 😅 doesn’t even see any sense to go in there, especially because the products sold at Burger King or McDonald’s are getting in every well-stocked supermarket. And the original nuggets or burgers patties that are also sold there for less money

I can understand your concerns. As a vegetarian or vegan it can be challenging to eat in fast food restaurants such as Burger King or McDonald’s, as often the same areas and equipment are used for animal and vegetable products. Some people decide to eat there and accept this potential cross-contamination while others avoid it to ensure that they do not consume animal products accidentally.

It might be helpful to ask in the respective restaurants how they deal with plant and animal products to make an informed decision. Some branches have separate preparation areas for vegan products, while others do not. Ultimately, it depends on your personal comfort level and your ethical considerations.

I don’t work there, but I wouldn’t mind. Most of them eat meat and I look rather waste in putting extra vegan oil. There’s a lot too much to shake off in the evening.

I really don’t like waste.

I don’t eat plant base stuff. I don’t see any sense in giving me wrong meat when I have vegetables. You can also make a patty of vegetables Usually it is cheaper because you only have to mix everything together at home and get into the pan. I don’t waste any money. And the 5min do not cripple are also forceable.

It is to be assumed that not always attention is paid to whether things are roasted in the same oil as meat, etc.

Especially since you also support the companies in what they do with the veggie eating.

I think MinaLisa’s attitude is reasonable. The attitudes mentioned here for radical and absurd.

I don’t eat anything like that. Not at all, after all the scandals that were revealed.
