What it has with the energy, the others have already explained.

Whether or how the range increases depends on some other factors. This includes:

  • Setting the Hop Up
  • Run
  • Ball weight
  • Sealing of the system

If you have to use a different weight after a change in the strength of the weapon (e.g. by tuning), then a readjustment of the HU is essential to maintain the accuracy.

Putting more “steam” into a system doesn’t necessarily keep you going.

The energy is higher.

The more energy, the higher a bullet with the same weight is accelerated.

To a certain degree, yes. It strikes the same distance “harder” / addresses more damage or penetrates the target more strongly. Depending on the type of bullet.

You have already received very good answers. However, since you are 15 you will only find Airsofts with an energy of less than 0.5 joule for you due to the German Arms Act.

Since you are 15

Oh, totally overlooked. But the question is simply general?

Think that it was generally valid – just wanted to mention it for completeness
