Hey, so I definitely understand your concerns. But don’t worry too much. It can help you if you always have a tie when you go where or at school. Then you’re always prepared and nothing can happen. If you get it and don’t feel comfortable or something, you can say it to your teacher, for example. She’ll help you safe and if you don’t, you’ll be home. Otherwise, it can also help if you inspire friends so they can support you. And of course it’s when you get them good when you tell your mother.
But I would advise you that you think too much about it. If you get it, you’ll get it and you can’t stand it. And it is also important that you know that this is not embarrassing at all and you can talk about it no matter who – teacher and teacher, parents, girlfriends etc.

It’s more often going off quite normal, as soon as the control bleeding begins. Often it is known, for example, with lubrication bleeding, which also occur rather irregularly. So it could be that you bleed something for a couple of days and then you bleed longer. I had absolutely no complaints as a teenager. My first period came with about 13 until I had passed a regular cycle about 2 years. Cranks or other complaints came only as adults. Talk to your mother or other women/older girls about it. Whether you use bindings, tampons etc is often a personal decision. For example, I use period underwear because I find the most pleasant. There are also children’s sizes.

Be prepared as soon as it happens:

-Building in the house

-Ibup calls in the house

– Heat bottle in the house

It could hurt what I did for the first time, but not.

Tell your mother when it’s ready.

You’re not so scared!

(I don’t know if you’ve already gotten into between your periodw, but maybe this answer can also help others)

It’s best to pack an emergency bag for your school backpack so you’re ready. Just pack in ties, tampons and change underwear.

If you get your period, stay calm. Try it best with a bandage you stick in your underwear. There are also many other products such as:

-Tampons

-Menstruation cup

-Period underwear

-Sweeping

-…

You better talk about it with your mother or a female trustee. She can help and explain a lot. You should always openly communicate your period and look for no case ashamed to ask questions!! (:

It’ll be okay. You better ask your girlfriends about their experiences. There’s nothing going to happen. Don’t worry, keep a tampon or a split insert ready. Millions of girls have done it before you. Don’t be afraid. (I mean, I have a good talk as a boy, but I just heard that this shouldn’t be so bad at all).

All good, Olli
