How rare is the Me 262?
I just saw an Me 262 flying overhead. Aren't those things really rare?

Good morning! I myself would like to become a pilot later and then work for Lufthansa or the Lufthansa Group. Now, there are two ways available: Private flight school and then apply to different airlines Do your training directly with an airline. At Lufthansa, that would be at the European Flight Academy. I once read…
Hello I have booked wizz air priority. How many kg of luggage can I take with me? How many kg can my suitcase weigh?
The F22 was developed before the F35, so the F35 should actually be better, but why are only F35s sold and the F22 only used in the USA? Furthermore, the radar cross-section of the F35 is larger, even though the F35 should be more advanced.
Hallo alle zusammen, wisst ihr was die am meisten gestellte Frage in dieser Fachschaft ist?
I have a vape with a pod system (I can simply remove the pod from the top). Can I take the battery part of my vape with me in my toiletry bag, i.e. in my suitcase? Or does it have to be my hand luggage?
I'm a total Concorde fan and, unfortunately, was born after 2003. I would have loved to fly on it. I almost cried when I watched a documentary about it. I just can't understand why it's no longer flying. Is it just me? She is simply unique and holds many records…

Flyable reproductions
Me 262 (A-1c) replica of (A1-a), Berlin Air Show, 2006
In January 2003, the American Me 262 Project, based in Everett, Washington, completed flight testing to allow the delivery of partially updated spec reproductions of several versions of the Me 262 including at least two B-1c two-seater variants, one A-1c single-seater and two “convertibles” that could be switched between the A-1c and B-1c configurations. All are powered by General Electric CJ610 engines and feature additional safety features, such as upgraded brakes and strengthened landing gear. The “c” suffix refers to the new CJ610 powerplant and has been informally assigned with the approval of the Messerschmitt Foundation in Germany[130] (the Werknummer of the reproductions picked up where the last wartime produced Me 262 left off – a continuous airframe serial number run with a near 60-year production break).
Flight testing of the first newly manufactured Me 262 A-1c (single-seat) variant (Werknummer 501244) was completed in August 2005. The first of these machines (Werknummer 501241) went to a private owner in the southwestern United States, while the second (Werknummer 501244) was delivered to the Messerschmitt Foundation at Manching, Germany. This aircraft conducted a private test flight in late April 2006 and made its public debut in May at the ILA 2006. The new Me 262 flew during the public flight demonstrations.[131] Me 262 Werknummer 501241 was delivered to the Collings Foundation as White 1 of JG 7; this aircraft offered ride-along flights starting in 2008.[132] The third replica, a non-flyable Me 262 A-1c, was delivered to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in May 2010.[133]

It was the Me 262. I even photographed her.
Oh cool then post the photo so we all have something of it
Even more rare.
edit:
Wikipedia thinks there are 8 copies in museums. But apparently there are replicas that are being flown.
There are currently 2 flightable replicas
Right. There are three replicas but have just read that one of the replicas is probably not flying
The third replica, a non-flyable Me 262 A-1c, was delivered to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in May 2010.
More than rare. The gips no longer. Only in museums or replicas.

You always have to specify the source where you copied it
There is no more ECHTE flightable Me262. Some replicas that are flightable already.
How many replicas are they actually airworthy?

Two.
I do, because I have the required aircraft licence. I’d just have to complete the necessary type rating. Now you can fly the machine?
Or other question, should a hobby pilot, so someone with a PPL fly this machine?
Let’s turn the spit around: should you fly it?
Could you fly this with your license?
In Germany there is a flying replica in Manching near Ingolstadt, it belongs to the Messerschmitt Foundation and is exhibited there.
By chance I live near Manching ðŸTM‚
Hahaha Du Komiker explains a lot why didn’t you write this up in your question??
Who lives in the Nacxhbarschaft of Fort Knox will perhaps see a gold bar :)))

They are so rare that none of them fly.
I’m not an idiot. I saw her + the radar showed me
Of course there are 2 flightable Me 262 again. Although they are not originals, they are replicas, but they are rebuilt to their original. Only the engines and the avionics are modern.
Thank you for the clarification. It was new to me that there are replicas.
That’s not true. There are three replicas where one of the replicas is not flying. The two flightable replicas correspond exactly to the original machines up to some modern instruments and the US engines General Electric J85/CJ-610 flying also in jets like the Gates Learjet and Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter
