How to connect Kenwood car radio in SLK from 2002?

HELP
I bought an old SLK from 2002 (r170) and want to replace the ancient Alpine radio (about 15 years old) with a Kenwood radio (about 8 years old).
I unplugged the Alpine radio, which goes directly into the car, and tried plugging that into the Kenwood instead.
They look similar, but only almost. That's why the plug won't go in. What do I need to do/buy to make this work?
In one picture, you can see both connections for both radios side by side. In the other picture, you can see the old Alpine radio hanging from the wiring harness. If I remove that, it won't fit on the new radio, as you can see in the picture above.
What can I do? 🙂
Look if you can pull the cable harness out. Actually, there should be an ISO standard plug between where you can pull off the adapter of the old Alpine and plug the one of the Kenwood Rauf that must have been there.
It was my thought. I tried to pull out the cable harness, even deep in the arm. Don’t go any further.
That’s right. There was an ISO plug that was deep in the car. This is what was stupid, because the landlord somehow killed a subwoofer cable, you see on the photo on gray cables. Thus, the Kenwood Radio now goes as I took the Kenwood ISO plug, but then there is a little bass 😅
So it would still be desirable to keep the old ISO plug because the subwoofer is on it, and to make it fit the Kenwood Radio ..
Could it work with an adapter?
New adapter suitable for the new radio
Do you have a link or an idea what one?
Needed to search for ebay or Amazon
I couldn’t post a picture in the answer, that’s why new thread. Such a plug should be in there. This is the original plug. Something must be found in it, either the plug or a place where the plug was cut off and this one was called (but I cannot imagine). I think the plug got stuck somewhere in the chess. Try shaking and easy to pull if it dissolves.
Hmmm I’m looking at time 🙂 I report 🙂
