How does a scorpion survive in a package from China to Germany?

A woman from Marburg ordered something from Shein (from China).

While unpacking in her apartment, she was bitten on the hand by a poisonous scorpion.

How could the scorpion survive without air?

They also dig into loose soil in a centimeter depth. This is even more inhospitable. He’ll switch to emergency operation.

Theoretically, however, I don’t know if that’s true because the yellow mittemeerskorpion doesn’t live in China or Far East . It also occurs in the Mediterranean area in the European part of Turkey in North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Unlikely that one will come to China and be sent back.If then a species living in China.

It’s not completely impossible, but not likely. It is true that poisonous animals have been sent and survived.

The question is more like he’s coming to China.

In the internet is that it lives mainly in Africa.

I can’t imagine that he can make it into one of the Shein bags, the packages are not airtight, but the bags already

Will not claim that it is impossible or that the evtl is only slipped in the bag, but mmn hears it much more realistic that he was already somehow in the apartment and then crawls into the already open package.

A package is certainly not airtight.
