Hello,

That’s why I test the water every day and I noticed that my PH value is very low.

What do you think? Line water has a pH which is slightly alkaline, i.e. 7,4-7,8, which is buffered by the provider in such a way, because acidic water would decompose the lines!

I assume that

and according to the test sticks, I have a PH value of 6.4

the Pudels core is why this is so, I have already written in the answer!

Of course I take quite normal tap water, but our water is quite soft

Soft, so lower GH does not necessarily have something to do with the pH!

Hello

I would recommend another approach.

Just find out why the pH is low.

This is rare and if you understand why this is the case you can expect.

There are mainly 3 causes

  • Measurement errors – usually the case
  • Soil and soft water (just change water more often and otherwise ignore)
  • too much CO2 fertilization: make CO2 plant weaker

Is it JBL per scan?

No soil, allegedly the tap water is already mad!

JBL’s multiple tests often show too low a pH. What does the test say and what does your water provider say about water hardness?

Water values from the waterworks can be found when you enter “Trinkwasseranalyse Ortendorfxyz”

Only the ridge, for example, of lowering PH…
