How do I remove parasite eggs from my aquatic plants?
I ordered aquarium plants from Amazon, but I would like to clean them again or remove parasite eggs before putting them in my aquarium because I have read many bad customer reviews about parasite infestations.
But how do I do this?
Against almost every geter, it helps very reliably if you put the plants in mineral water with a lot of carbonic acid (until the water has stopped). The combination of CO2 poisoning and PH crash actually kills every animal while the plants survive the procedure. Eggs are not killed reliably.
Thanks for the answer, but how long does the water have to be stopped and how long do I have to put the plants in the water?
You fill a sufficiently large bowl, into which the new plants fit pure, with fresh, sparkling mineral water and leave the plants in until it no longer melts.
Thank you
