How to avoid panicking before printing?
Hello,
I'm getting my braces fitted tomorrow and I have an extreme gag reflex. It says so in my file and the orthodontist knows about it, but I'm worried that I'll have to have another impression taken tomorrow. The problem is that once the tray is in, it works, but I can't get it in without gagging. Help?
If you have already taken prints for the chips you get, then no new ones will be made so quickly.
Yes, I know these spoons well with the two-component molding compound;-)
I have often got them in my mouth during my treatment, and they are not so pleasant, but also not bad.
I was afraid I had to choke. I bought such a tongue brush to clean the tongue. With this I have become accustomed to the fact that there will be something that is pushed further into the throat area. Test out from which point in the throat of the Würgereflex comes and try to go further from day to day as far as the spoon will go. With me it has helped a little to get used to it and to know its borders.
I remember that it was more pleasant for me that I sat upright when I had the spoon for hardening in my mouth. Just ask if you can get the treatment couch up when the spoon is inside. Depending on how you enjoy it.
Hey, I’m fine. But I really helped breathe consciously through my nose.
Hello Berthold,
during installation time (!) no impression is taken.
Only again during the expansion or possibly for the documentation of an intermediate stand.
But maybe your orthodontic has already bought an oral scanner by then;-)
Good luck!

The print was made to make the braces. If it is to be used tomorrow, no further printing is necessary.
You can assume that the chip is used and everything fits.
I had the problem too and I was allowed to lean forward then it went.
