Wie oft uriniert eine alte Katze (16)?
Meine Katze ist schon eine alte Lady (16) und seit längerem uriniert sie “relativ” häufig. Heute Nacht z.B. 3 mal. Über den Tag verteilt kommen dann noch weitere 3-5 mal hinzu. Also so 5-8 mal am Tag würde ich schätzen, geht sie aufs Klo. Stuhlgang ist normal einmal am Tag.
Sie isst (Nass- & Trockenfutter) und trinkt normal, da fallen mir keine Veränderungen auf. Sie schläft im Winter mehr, bewegt sich weniger, geht weniger raus. Aber das ist jedes Jahr so und gar nichts neues. Sie wirkt auch nicht, als hätte sie Schmerzen, ist vom Verhalten genauso wie vorher.
Urinieren ältere Katzen sowieso mehr?

An old cat that urinates so much (yes, it’s a lot) usually has to do with the kidneys due to age.
Please arrange a veterinarian appointment and make a geriatric blood count.

That can be quite normal. My pee sometimes more than five times a day. Especially when they have drunk a lot or eat wet food with a high moisture content.
How often does your cat pee?
Is she drinking more?
Does she show signs of pain in peeing (blasenitis)?
If you’re insecure, you’d better let it be veterinarian. In the case of elder animals, it is better to consider

In the summer I don’t get it often because it is in the garden and then I find less. Never counted.
I don’t think she’s drinking anymore. When peeing, it doesn’t make any signs, so no mow or the like. If she pees on the other side (she is a trot-pinklerin if she doesn’t get food.) the urine is not reddish either.
Then it is very normal
Your cat could be ill with the kidney.
Go with her to the vet and let her create a blood picture.
