How often does an 80-liter hot water tank heat up without drawing water?
Hello, since the old hot water tank was defective, I got a new one (Vaillant elostor pro 80 liters).
Unfortunately, it is very loud, so I should always be able to hear it when it is heating up, since I am always at home at the moment.
Sometimes I don't hear it reheating for three days if no water has been drawn. Of course, I wouldn't hear it at night.
Since I find this a bit odd, I'm wondering how often a device like this reheats without using water. It's set to "E," which is 60 degrees.

1-2 times a day/night for a few minutes, but I have a wlan socket in front, so that I only use my cheaper night stream, so I can then over zb. Alexa set the time and duration. Since I am rarely at home in the week, this is the best solution for me because I can control my boiler from anywhere (saving 2-3 kW per day)!
With me, the device is unfortunately firmly connected so that I cannot use an intermediate plug.
Because the boiler is probably in the bathroom, there are also possibilities via your safety box (payable via electricians)!
