How do I declare net operating income in my EÜR for print on demand?

Hi,

When I buy a T-shirt from my print-on-demand "provider," the initial price includes 19% sales tax. I then resell the T-shirt for a higher price. For example, if I buy a T-shirt for €15 including VAT and resell it for €20, I make a profit of €5. So, VAT isn't due again on the second sale, is it? And what do I enter for net operating income in the EÜR?

Or am I mistakenly assuming that I pay the VAT directly on my first purchase?

I am grateful for any help

When shopping:

  • Payment of VAT to the seller
  • Exemption if you are not a small business operator

For sale:

  • ID of USt on your invoices
  • Transfer of the USt to the FA as part of your sales tax pre-registrations/USt annual declaration, unless KU

The inflow and outflow principle according to 11tG applies.

In this case, both must be entered in the operating income because you first get the money:

  • row 14 of EWC: net value (20 € VK /1.19–> 16,80€ net)
  • Line 16: revenue USt (20 € /119 x19 –> 3,19 € USt)

How do you get the wrong idea, the second sale is not VAT due?

are you small entrepreneurs according to § 19 UStG?

at JEDEM purchase you pay VAT (except supplier is small business operator according to § 19 UStG).
