Das kommt darauf an, wie Du es konfiguriert haben möchtest. Du hast da einen Schalter, der die Möglichkeiten 1, 0 und 2 hat.
Wenn Du 1 & 2 verbindest, fließt der Strom, wenn der Schalter auf Position 1 liegt. Wenn Du 3 & 4 verbindest auf Position 2 usw.

nein mal ganz im ernst. Wir müssten wissen, was du damit vor hast.
so ein Schalter kann man z.B. als Notstromschalter verwenden.
Das Kabel das von der Sicherung kommt wird an 1 und 5 angeschlossen. Das Kabel das vom generator kommt an 3 und 7.
auf der anderen Seite werden dann 2 und 4 so wie 6 und 8 überbrückt. Das kabel was dann zum Verbraucher geht, kommt an 2 und 6 mit dabei.
In Stellung 0 ist klar, geht nichts. in Stellung
in Stellung 1 sind die Kontakte 1 und 2 geschlossen. so wie 5 und 6 die kontakte 3 und 4 so wie 7 und 8 sind offen. dem entsprechend kann kein Strom richtung Generator fließen.
in Stellung 2 sind die eben genannten kontakte alle offen, dafür aber 3 und 4 so wie 7 und 8 offen. so kann der Strom nur vom Generator zum Verbraucher fließen.
etwas verwirrlich, letzter Satz irgendwie falsch:

“offen” heisst bei Schaltern: unterbrochen, also nicht leitend.
Du musst es so anschliessen, dass es das macht, was du willst.
Weil wir aber dazu nichts erfahren, können wir nur auf das Anschluss- und Funktionsbild verweisen, steht ja alles da:
Wenn du nicht weis genau welche Leitung was ist ,lass es einen Elektriker machen , Kostenpflichtig. Dann hast du auch Gewissheit das es Funktioniert.
Kommt drauf an, was für ein Schaltverhalten du benötigst.
Ganz genau, einfach nur EIN/AUS oder soll das ein Wechselschalter werden ??
