How to change motorcycle tires?

hello, I am new to the topic,

How do you actually change a motorcycle tire? Do you always have to pull the tire off the rim, or is it like with a car, where you just change the entire tire and rim?

And where can I find a workshop that can do this? I don't think a traditional auto repair shop can do it.

thank you in advance.

You can change the tyre at any motorcycle dealer who has also connected a workshop, even so many two-wheeled dealers offer a workshop to if motorized two-wheelers are sold. There are at least one workshop that specializes in two-wheels/motorcycles in every larger place.

Changing takes place similar to the car, disassembles the affected wheel, pulls the tire from the rim and mounts a new tire onto the rim. The wheel is then remounted with the new tire.

or is it like the car, where you only change the complete tire with rim?

A new rim is not required, only the tire must be replaced.

Let it be done in a motorcycle workshop. They’re gonna build up the wheels, pull off the old tires, and the new ones on it, rake them out and rebuild the wheels.

The cost of change is 75-100€ plus tyres.

Usually, you can do this at a motorcycle dealer or a motorcycle workshop.

Most of the tires themselves are removed from the rim and then exchanged. No one has a second set of rims.

Is exactly like the car – I have a second rim set, for example, I can easily switch between cross and road tires.

Otherwise, the tires must of course be pulled down each time by the removed rims and others.

Also in the car the tire is pulled to change from the rim.

Motorcycle dealers. Reifen.com also offers a good and favorable tyre change for motorcycles in many branches.

If pulled by the wheel rim like the car, but a car workshop does not have the right machine for it. I would also not expand the rim myself, but I would go with the mopped.
