Hi. We have two wasp nests in our rental apartment. One inside a window (very small, about 5x5cm) and a large one near the bathroom, but hidden somewhere in the wall. I called my landlord because wasps are also protected. She told me to "knock the nest out and spray it with hairspray." But it…
Unfortunately, the quality isn't that great, but can someone tell me what it could be? Googling didn't help either.
This is really annoying. Does anyone know what to do about these things? They're way too loud.

Hello, I have a small box with soil and a few rose chafer larvae as food. I put some banana and blueberries in the soil but they haven't touched it for days. What should I do?
The answer from florestino is already the best here. With an insect screen, you can also tilt your window once. Otherwise just wait until the animals have flew out. This is usually the case at the latest in September. You can find many information about the puppy species and their behaviour here:

Attach insect protection grids on the window. And leave the nest alone.
Order chamber hunters.
If you trust it, best with three hands:
Keep buckets ready with lid. Keep the bucket right under the nest, the lid ready.
Cut the nest with a spatula (or fryer or similar), drop into the bucket and close it immediately.
Otherwise, only the expert remains.
Then there may be no need: then, in a nest box or in a concrete bird house, a drawer in the planting table or another similarly protected place, attach it to the top with a hot air adhesive and support it from the bottom with a wood or a piece of cardboard until it holds there.
