How to start playing guitar?

I'm an amateur pianist and have been playing the piano since childhood. So I have a lot of experience with the piano, music theory, and music in general.

As a "decorative piece," I have a high-quality guitar in my room that sounds almost like a piano. Lol.

Lately I've been listening to guitar music more often to relax, and man, I love it!

Since I'm currently on vacation and very interested in guitars, I'd like to start today. Does anyone have any tips for me?

-Is it theoretically easier for pianists to learn guitar? Is it generally easy?

it’s easier definitely. And the reasons are “on the hand”

I’d start with the basic chords. calm your favorite songs because you can almost all break them down to the grundakkorde.

on youtube really gives a thousand videos to

Jein. Depends on whether you learn classical concert guitars or acoustic and electric guitars and what method.

You bring the lead to read notes and no longer have to think about the composition of chords.

It is easier with guitar that you have no more 2 separate lines for your hands, but only one more. More difficult is the hand position for the left because it is completely unnatural. It’ll be painful.

Guitar is simpler than piano in my opinion.

And if you’ve already gained experience musically, it’ll work faster.

You don’t necessarily need a teacher. Google and YouTube are really helpful. I taught myself. From time to time, I had a good friend of mine.

My recommendation is Peter Bursch’s guitar book… so everyone has learned it – even me! ^+gg

Otherwise, YouTube is your friend!
