How do you make a delicious aromatic orange cream?

I made an orange cream cake yesterday, but I wasn't satisfied with the orange cream. The goal was a really nice, fruity cream based on cream and mascarpone. (500g) I used 2-3 tablespoons of orange peel, zest, a bit of lemon juice, sugar, and some citrus flavoring.

Unfortunately, I didn't taste anything at all afterwards. What can I improve?

Do you know these aroma oils that are also used for fragrance lamps?

These are also available with food-law approval – there is then “suitable for consumption”, that would be the one ingredient I would add (in the paste there are 2.5 g).

And the second ingredient would be this:

There I have been ordering for over 20 years, then the “yet very small”, my vanilla and also fruit powder and other. The quality is simple and price-performance ratio also.

In fruit powders there are strong differences in the power of aroma, so you have to take much more of e.g. blueberry than raspberry, just as if you eat the fruit fresh.

I made orange chocolate and taken on 100 g of white 5 g powder and 5 drops of oranges and mandarin oil each, that was too much. Oils develop their aroma more slowly than the powder, so carefully dose – but keep them properly stored “eternal”.

At any rate, the most natural method of “taste” is to be used because without additives and fillers. However, maltodextrin is added to the powder so that it does not clump.

The paste contains over 90% agave thick juice – sounds healthy, but is also only sugar.

I would have left the whole whole thing out and worked with creamy and half a glass of bitter orange jam. in addition two bag vanillin sugar

in mascarpone also with a whole glass jam. the more fat, the more taste is “lucked”

I just bought that paste. For the summer when there is no bioorangen. So for fresh aroma in summer desserts.

I’m totally excited about the stuff. Whether in a spicy, goose or desserts: it makes a fine fruity fresh aroma.

Very different. Always on dessert.

I don’t always just take orange

If you want to taste creamy and fresh then I take buttervanilla and lemon.

The raspberry tiramisu in winter with orange in summer with lemon.

Not like Fanta. More like a really ripe orange without much acidity but a hint of orange peel.

Hard to describe

A warm aroma without the extreme fresh lemon
