How do I turn a normal LIPO battery into a smart battery?
I would like to develop a simple electronic component that can be connected to a battery balancer and discharges the battery to 50%.
One for 4s batteries and one for 6s batteries.
Does anyone have a good suggestion on how this could best be implemented?
BMS PCB design itself with its own software.
Theoretically, however, you can simply attach a load connected to it and tell the BMS that it should switch it away again at 50% SOC. But don’t let a high current flow.
