If VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing, first install the Visual C++ Redistributables by Microsoft (and just don’t download individual files from any website). After that, reinstall your software and then we will see on.

In no case should you manually add (or remove) any files in C:\Windows\System32 if you don’t exact Know what you’re doing.

What do you mean? Is it installed? And your application also reinstalled? You have a link to the application you want to install (can then test/review yourself). What OS – Windows 10 or Windows 11?

The i2C-P15Pro2.16.exe program starts on my Windows 11 test system, but with unready, cryptic characters, which indicates a problem with the codepage/language environment.

Usually, the files should be automatically written to the System32 folder when installing a program.

If that’s not the case, you’ll have to retrieve it manually. Yes, your guess is correct.

Anyway, I would never manually pack any dll’s into folders. Many websites offer bloatware or other malware.

If the dll’s missing, either missing a whole program or should be reinstalled.

If you want to hand-pick things or even have to do it, something is wrong.

That’s right, of course. If you have no idea of matter, you should leave your fingers and just re-enact the program. 😊👍

Often yes, not always. And with 40 years of experience with computers and 11 years of self-employment in the field of PC service, I know quite exactly what I’m talking about.

You should also leave your fingers when you have a clue. Pushing DLLs manually is always the wrong way with normal (not specially developed frying crane) software.
