Everyone has his own methods to memorize something. What is best for you, we don’t know, but sit down and read through again and again and again and again throughout the day would be a good start. (Bessser than hanging around here at GF).

First of all, you should analyze the story. What happened in the poem? Then you visualize this story. This means that you’ll imagine what’s happening there in pictures. Now you have a run. It goes from A to B via C. Only now you go to the text. This makes it much easier for you to keep the words because you already have pictures. Continuous repetition of the words naturally helps.

Hello,

begin to memorize the poem by line:

1st row

2nd row

1.+2.line

3rd row

2.+3.line

1.+2.+3.line

4th row

3.+4 line

2.+3.+4.

1.+2.+3.+4.

etc.

If you have, do the same stanza:

1.Strope test

1.+2.Strophe

1.+2.+3.Strophe

etc.

Finally all the verses together, the whole poem.
