How do I learn chemistry HELP?

Hello, I'm in my first semester of studying biotechnology and have (so far) passed all my exams. However, I have my chemistry step-up exam at the end of February… and I'm really scared.

Does anyone know the best way to study for chemistry?
My problems: I have the necessary basic knowledge (atoms/periodic table/orbitals etc.) but I have problems with chemical calculations and with all kinds of examples – how do I know what has which chemical bonds etc. (I hope you understand where I'm having problems)

Please help me with how to proceed. Some of the scripts are too complicated for me. Does anyone know of any books that explain it simply?
I selected “Basic Chemistry” and all “Chemistry for Dummies” sections…

Not really.

But I say once again, if you still have difficulty with the most basic binding types and have to come to the chemical balance according to the tags, then this is already athletic for a month. (I have no idea what the STEOP exams have for content).

Look for someone who really has it (and has time!) and let yourself be personalized. Put to a table for hours and go one by one, what you can and what you can’t.

Learning from books is more suboptimal in my eyes when it burns time.
