What is the best way to study for the theory test?
So, I failed my first theory test today. My parents are furious and disappointed with me, and I am too, of course. I was wondering if you know a method for the best way to study. Should I just memorize 150 questions a day, or, as my parents say, do nothing else but study? What strategies do you use or have you used? I just always do exam simulations beforehand and I just don't notice any learning curve anymore…
Thanks in advance šš
Actually, you just have to learn the rules, not the questions.
Understand all the rules of departure,
All speed rules
All where you can park rules
Then the questions make sense.
I had to really learn only the formulas for braking distance, etc.
I had 0 mistakes and after 4 min abandoned.
Unfortunately I am in the practical diarrhea,
Don’t let you get under, it’s not that bad to fall through.
Is definitely helpful, thank you! Become aware of and understand the rules in general
But unfortunately, it’s this technique that asks me to have fallen through.
I had a matching app with the questions catalogue at the time. There was also a textbook, but that was too expensive and old-fashioned to me. Many use both.
I answered the questions all at least once, divided into several days of course. With things I knew I would let it be good after a time when what was wrong I looked why I had it wrong (read what was forgotten or not yet known) and then repeated the question so often (of course also distributed over several days) until I had it right three times in a row.
To do this, I made these exam simulations, which were also included in the app.
I’m sure I had 0 flaws 15 times in a row, so I did the theory check. Then I had insisted very close, because a few questions looked just as much as in the app but had a minimally different picture or were formulated differently. Ask me today why the questions catalogues are not identical. But good, that would be too easy.
When learning, breaks are also important. I guess you’re still going to school and I’m sure you have other things to do. I wouldn’t mind your spare time, even if your parents would see it differently. But only learning brings you nothing, especially if you don’t see progress.
What were your questions?
They are usually asking this technique (all of them) and asking these typical āwhat should you do in this situationā. There were also some environmental issues with fuel saving driving
But that would be just memorable learning. It’s always the same thing you want to hear or quite clear. Then, as I said, I would sort out everything you can sure and learn the rest so that you can understand why Xy is the answer
Yes…but I’m so a guy who thinks: I can really assume that I can ask the questions, so I can sort out the other questions because what if I can’t do them… you know what I mean? But I think I will consider your proposal in my new learning plan (is available as a supplement to the question), thank you, by the way, š
