How does this work at the airport and are there any restrictions regarding luggage?
Hello, I'm flying for the first time in a week, and I'm interested in knowing how things work with security checks and dropping off my suitcase and picking it up later. I also wanted to ask if there are any restrictions (other than weight) for hand luggage and regular luggage. I mean, whether I can pack my shampoo and other items in my suitcase, and whether the suitcase will be opened in any way (during the security check). Best regards
Maja,
upps, sorry, the PC has unfortunately developed a life of its own and has simply sent the unfinished answer forward. :-/
So, what you can do in law or run in & you can find among others:
https://www.zoll.de/DE/Private/Reisen/Rueckkehr-aus-einem-Non-EU-State/customs/taxes/freezes/freezes_node.html
as well as on the website of the airline you are flying with.
They’ve called me out and left my luggage open armed, because I had squeezed several spray cans with deo’s, shaving foam etc. from my treasure and me in my cultural bag and they thought it was a bomb or the like. :-0 I was really shocked and since then all spray cans have been widely separated in the suitcase…
Greetings,
wolfin
Oh, no problem. Thank you for your answer! 😃 You can get the star 😉 as soon as possible
Also thanks!!! 🙂 :
Shampoo, Deo and all the other diligences I would pack in the suitcase. Liquids are only allowed up to a certain amount. The cases are generally not opened but are irradiated. In the hand luggage, I would only pack these travel sizes of the small bottles.
Maja,
what you have in law
? xD
Let Dan weigh security control there you have to run your stuff through a scanner that you previously put in boxes and have to go through a body scanner, then you just have to wait at the gate for your flight
You need to pack liquids in an extra box*
Yes of course it is controlled!!!
How? So they’re gonna open the suitcase?
Are you alone?
No, with my father.
Yes then they probably don’t make the suitcases on the people in customs looking for illegal things like cigarettes or other that are crossed into the country to take or introduce. That’s why you’ll get in touch with Google
