How long is THC detectable when doing a drug test or urine test?

Hello, I'm wondering if smoking weed is more unhealthy or "healthier" than regular cigarette smoking. I mean, both are smoking, so they're very unhealthy, but can they be differentiated more precisely from the substance itself, for example? A much more interesting question would be whether consuming edibles isn't unhealthy if one doesn't assume an overdose….
