How long is a cat stunned?
I took my cat to the vet today. Since she's not at all cooperative and tends to scratch or bite, my vet gave her a mild sedation injection. She wasn't a general anesthetic, but she "slept" with her eyes open.
He then injected her with an antidote and she woke up again.
Now, two hours later, she's still lying around, so she's responsive but she's just lying down. Is that normal?
Hello,
when cats are sedated, or when they die they have eyes on IMMER. Cats close their eyes only when they live and are not annoyed. Therefore, a veterinarian usually lubricates an ocular ointment in the eyes when seding and/or anesthesia, or drips eye drops in, so that the eyes do not dry out.
Your cat will have completely broken in the next 4-8 hours and be completely clear again.
Please make sure your cat doesn’t eat or drink as long as it’s still so envyed. Not until she’s completely clear again.
Please also make sure that the cat does not climb up anywhere in the time of benevolent. The risk of falling is too great.
Your cat all thoughtful good.

She sleeps her noise. That’s normal.
