How long does the period last?
Hi, this question probably sounds stupid at first. Of course I know roughly how long my period lasts, but a friend recently told me that the length of my period doesn't depend on a specific time period—for example, how long it takes for the uterine lining to break down—but rather that there's simply a certain amount of blood that needs to come out. That would mean that if I go to the toilet a lot, it could shorten my period. Is she right or not?
Hello
No, that’s nonsense your girlfriend’s telling me bullshit. She should be better informed. Besides: Even if it were, you wouldn’t be able to shorten your period by frequent toilet. Bubble and uterus do not hang together and there are two different holes. One only for urine and the other for blood, outflow, babies, cum etc.
During menstruation, the cervical mucosa dissolves and blood vessels are torn up from which blood comes out. This blood then flows together with the mucosa of the uterus through the vagina from the body.
Here’s a video:

At 1:33 you see the process of separation and bleeding. The video does not take long, it makes sense to look completely in it will explain important foundations that you should know.

I hope I could help you 🙃

Jojo
That’s not true.
The blood and the mucous membrane do not build everything at once or in the same rhythm. This is all controlled by hormones.
This is why the period for women takes different lengths.
Of course, however, it is also true that not every woman loses equal blood.
No, you can’t shorten the period and your girlfriend isn’t right either. The length of the period is regulated by hormones
