Of course, the water must be shut off.

When the tap is replaced as a whole, it is necessary to provide the thread of the new tap with hemp or a more modern sealant before turning it into the thread. It may take three minutes for each tap.

Basin … depending on the skills and how to adjust, or has the right tool to do so, it still matters what it is for a tap …

  • With flexible hose approx. 15min when you get anywhere
  • With rigid hose about 30min

– The mixing battery on the bathtub … approx. 5min

– Mixed battery in the shower, depending on the model between 5min and 30min

The water must of course be turned off:

washbasin with existing corner valves, only turn the corner valves. When the bathtub/shower is mixed, the main line of cold water and hot water must generally be shut off.

You have to put the water off. Because of the time, you can really appreciate how long you’re gonna need because you don’t know how many taps you want to replace. I’d rather have it done by professionals. For insurance reasons alone.

With luck this goes in 5 minutes and water does not have to be shut down.

May also take 5 days, water is shut down, flow agreed

Mostly, the hoses that go out of the wall to the pipe have a seprate shut-off valve directly at the pipe end. Then the main cock can stop.

Make yourself a change for the first time and it has to change the tap (without pre-work: free spaces, search tools, place hole in position, measure hole) for 2 hours, probably much less.

The black one!

Dumb question, stupid answer.

The passage holes for a fitting are not standardized to a size.

Yes, the water is shut down and it takes just a few minutes.

If it’s a standard cock sitting on the basin, it won’t take long. The water is turned off at the corner valves

Depends on how skill you are…. from 5 minutes I would say. Water must of course be shut down. The bathroom usually has its own shut-off valve.

The water is placed at the corner valves under the sink and a new fitting is mounted. It may take 30 minutes.

A few minutes but if it drips, it can take days…

If you have to ask, you shouldn’t do it, but let a craftsman do it.

15 minutes I need to send away (including the dog who wants to help and explain to the children what I do and why I need what tool) and I’m not a installer.

Turn off water: Sure.

First part: Depends.
