I hope there’s at least one more cat in there, then it’s coming up for the merge.

Then it comes to people.

A new cat should never be put right into the territory of the others. This should be done slowly

Then you wait the “last week” and don’t come near him

Not at all. Withdrawn and fear, it’s better.

This is always different and crucial to the character of the animal. Some people don’t mind and feel like you’ve always been there after a few minutes/hours. Others need days to weeks until they get used to the new environment.

But they definitely need to rest and you should not go to the cat, but wait until it comes to one. But you can sit close, “ignore” the cat and talk normally. So the animal gets used to one and slowly becomes suspicious.

That means nothing. You’re afraid and you’re trying to overplay it like that and make it strong. Are there any other animals or are there new residents?

you can’t predict, you don’t know how catered are the new holders and know how to deal with insecure, anxious animals, for example. There is nothing to be said about the conditions of posture, whether the needs of the animals are met. Plenty of space, cat-friendly furnishings with climbing, scratching possibilities, varied games and employment opportunities etc.

It can take a long time or go very fast. Depends on the circumstances
