Is it normal for guests or family members to have to leave before the party, even if they've purchased tickets in advance? As far as I understand, there are two parts at the beginning with the food/buffet, etc., and then the party begins, but nowhere has it been stated whether the party is just for the graduates or whether the guests can join in the fun too?

So with us was that the guests were there for the normal duration of the Abiball, who went to 11 or so. At the party after that were still students, a few friends, and some teachers. Explicitly was not said that other guests have to go, but that was just like that, came out of themselves.
As the whole goes, of course, each school or the Abiball Committee can decide. For other people I know, for example, there was not this two-part, or the tickets for Abiball and Party after that there was one – then some people came to the party later.
