How do I care for my baby axolotl?
My best friend and I went to the park today. There's a pond in the park where you can walk and ride on a raft. We actually saw baby axolotls in there. My empty marshmallow bag fell into the water, and a tiny baby axolotl went into the bag. We got a waterproof box and put it in the box. (We just wanted to do it because we love axolotls more than anything and really want to adopt one.) Well, we adopted him, and my mom, who rarely lets me have pets, researched axolotls and let me have him. Now we don't know what to do next, but we have a few water striders and very small fish (no idea which ones, but they're good to eat) in the box. So, what's next? Or any tips?
Please bring the animal back as soon as possible where you got it.
It is certainly not a young axolotl!!!
Most likely, it is a whale larvae or that of an ointment mander. And therefore belongs to a protected species that cannot be found in nature.
we have brought back
Where’s this park?
Can’t every one of them claim that an animal is so completely “hopes, but that was so not planned-” ‘shopping in the bag’.
Wow, another coincidence! I love hyenas, maybe I’m hoping for one, but I don’t know if I’m in the zoo next time.
You didn’t do it, you stole it. Congratulations, you’re thieves.
Why don’t you just ask your mother – she has “informed” about these animals, according to your own statement.
And by the way, Axolotl is threatened with extinction in a wilderness.
If you’re smart, you take the animal back and apologize. If you are stupid, you will pass your ego-thing and keep the animal until, thanks to your lack of experience, it eloquently stretches your attention and learning resistance.
If you know everything better than the people who give you the SINNVOLLEN tip, don’t keep the animal (for these reasons), then I don’t understand why you ask here at all.
Please bring the animal back and release it.
What you’re doing with the box is animal torture. In addition, the oxygen content in the water of the box decreases steadily, quite on the contrary to a pond or lake in which there are water plants, water supply and drainage etc. Say: the animal can suffocate.
And by the marshmallow residue in the bag, you did no favor to the animal. She’s got it in her stomach.
You need an aquarium of a healthy size (also for an animal it should be great, in addition the individual holding is anyway malting), as well as the accessories that an aquarium needs (plants, floor covering, temperature controller, aerator/pump/water exchange, something in which the animal can hide, etc.). In addition, there are food, hygiene utensils to clean the aquarium and of course also “toys” so that the animal does not waste. Veterinary costs are also included.
You just ripped the animal out of freedom, that’s hopefully clear to you.
How would you find it when you’re going somewhere and suddenly someone comes with a crate and fish you away, take you home and then inform yourself about your attitude…until then you’ve been suffocated or starved long ago.
You just torture an animal that can’t resist. Whether it’s an axolotl or a goldfish.
Please bring it back. Do something good and do not. At least so long until you have informed yourself (you, not your mother) and you have created the conditions for the posture. That would be the right order, not first the animal and then see.
We have an aquarium… that’s not a cheap matter.
It’s so sad you don’t think. It’s a READ, NO GAME!
Thanks, but it’s a right big box and the Marshmallow bag was/is completely clean. We have already taken care of a large aquarium,
We still have an aquarium with enough size (real enough, the animal is really very small) and we soon get a big one with everything necessary.
We will also buy a lot in the animal store so that the little one is very good.
But we are really prepared!
Very sad that you really don’t seem to think, but only “DAS WILL ICH HABEN!” is in the foreground.
The animal is not at your heart.
It is to cry…You have 0 consciousness that you have a living thing before you. You’re driving an animal out of his life, out of his surroundings, don’t worry about the consequences. It’s got to go through now, a good guy keeps it out, a bad guy dies, then it’s not a shame, right?
You play here with the life of an animal. Are you sure?
Or do you care?
My wife (animal doctor) is just as excited as I (animalist). It’s so sad.
In view of your comments, my impression is that the animal is interested in a shit, but it’s just about being “Axolotl parents”… that it’s about a living being…pfffff…wurscht. Keep going if it can’t handle the circumstances.
Sorry, that makes me so mad. And then absolutely no insight or even the impulse to think about what kind of crap you’re doing.
The main thing the animal has to do… after us the flood.
I could really… about so much ignorance towards a living entity.
This will be a pond pig and not an axolotl.
The animal looks like this later:

What really? Now I’m afraid
Short update: it only looked like a pond pig baby on the photo. It’s an Axolotl baby. Thank you very much
yes
Oh, man, mankind’s getting d careless.
You didn’t adopt an animal, you stole it. Animals from nature are prohibited and punishable.
I would also be completely new that Axolotl live freely in Germany. That would be a sensation, since Axolotl is living in a lake only in Mexico? You’ve taken Molch, “forgot” and you’ve just tormented him. In a box there is not enough oxygen for the animal. For this purpose, the container may be heated too much. Do you have a cooler?
Leave him free, or you qualify for the “Idiots on GF” price. Unbelievable.
It looks like a pond pig for me.
These are “specially protected” according to the Federal Nature Conservation Act and the Federal Nature Conservation Regulation, we must not be caught, injured or killed. So please put him back.
Unfortunately, the doubt that they will. Better the animal enters them as they would bring it back to their surroundings.
I really hope they’re still rethinking.
Unfortunately, I have already found Axolotls in a pond. In the photo, I can personally not recognize much and my wife is not specialized in “water animals”.
But a pond moose can be of course, it will of course even be much more likely than an axolotl.
Sorry, I’m really upset about it.
I’m pretty sure it’s a pond pig. GoodLiebello posted good pictures. Young animals have a similar pebble arch as Axolotl but everyone with a touch of mind will naturally think that in local waters there is usually no axolotl that can be carried home by Marshmallowtüt…. 🙄
Please bring the animal back to the pond!!! This is a pond pig (baby)
If you want to have an axolotl, buy one at the breeder (or animal shelter) these are used to live in the aquarium.
Yeah, we do. We were not aware of what we were doing to the pond pig baby. But we will look at what of animal dealers! 🙂
In Germany there is no axolotl in free wild. There are NO free waters in Europe where Axolotl could survive. That’s some kind of pig. Most of them are endangered and not suitable as a pet and not at all in a box. Bring the poor animal back
There are no free-living Axolotls in Germany. You took a pond larvae or another cube from the pond. I am very surprised about you, it is relatively easy to find out what needs such a pond-molch or other amphibian Larve has.
bring the square back.
