How could the train accident in Munich happen?
Single-track line between Schäftlarn and Ebenhausen. Ebenhausen is double-tracked, and the Schäftlarn stop is single-tracked. Technical errors have already been ruled out. It couldn't have been the train from Schäftlarn, because it was probably traveling up to the Ebenhausen entry signal. Apparently, that's where the train crossing occurred. Then it can only be the train from Ebenhausen. It may have passed the exit signal toward Schäftlarn (normally, the PZB would have forced its brakes) and pressed the command button while doing so. Or it was allowed to cross using Zs 1, which I can't imagine. Normally, as far as I know, the entry switch should branch off in the direction the train from Ebenhausen wasn't traveling in due to flank protection. Correct me if I'm wrong. In that case, the train would have derailed because of the switch. What do you think?
Hiho,
for absolute safety, the investigation by the BEU remains to be expected.
Latest reports say that a train was influenced by the PZB. Why the Tf has freed itself from influencing remains to be seen.
Either the Tf has acted autonomously or the Fdl has agreed otherwise, e.g. Zs1.
Let’s wait. Either way, I exclude a technical error.
I don’t think your guesses will help you.
For this you need all the facts…
