Wie Katze am besten Medikament verabreichen?
Meine Katze muss ein Medikament nehmen vom Arzt aus, das muss sie “trinken”, also ursprünglich soll ich ihr die Flüssigkeit in den Mund spritzen. Nur leider lässt sie sowas nicht mit sich machen, also sie dreht sich immer weg etc. und daher ist das sehr umständlich.
Jetzt wollte ich euch mal nach Ideen fragen, wie ich ihr die Flüssigkeit “nebenbei” verabreichen kann. Also das ist nicht viel, das muss ihr Körper einfach nur aufnehmen.
Ich dachte erst an ins Nassfutter mischen, aber da ist das Problem, wenn sie das Futter nicht 100% aufisst, dann kann es ja sein, dass sie die Flüssigkeit nicht isst/aufnimmt. Jetzt dachte ich, dass ich ihr Leckerlis bzw. kleine Stücken Trockenfutter geben könnte und da immer etwas von der Medizin draufkippe, damit sie das eben unbemerkt aufnimmt (erste Medizinaufnahme steht erst heute Nacht an).
Habt ihr vielleicht noch andere Ideen? Vlt. hat ja jemand auch eine Katze, bei der man bei sowas “kreativ” werden muss und hat Ideen. Danke im Voraus 🙂

I had to do it too. I knelt over him with my Po on the floor with one hand opened his mouth and sprayed it into the corner of the mouth. Was every time a fight because he found it full doof and granted himself without end (he is really big and strong) but there you have to go through 😕
Give it something she likes so much that she’s sneaking it down in a bite?
One of my cats loves liver sausages, so I can hide good medicines inside, as they suck small pieces of liver sausage in one.
I’ll try sausage, that’s a good idea. The leaks like her, too, and I’ll try.
Make sure that the sausage is not too much seasoned.
