How can I receive mail from a friend abroad without my parents noticing?
The situation is this:
I, 15, have a girlfriend in America. In fact, she's my best friend. I'm also assured that this person is real; I have photos, her full name, videos, and we talk on the phone all the time. The thing is, she doesn't even know my "deadname," my birth name, because I go by a different, more preferred name.
Anyway, this angel bought me a present, something I really wanted but couldn't get here because it's only available in America. The thing is, she wants to send it to me by mail. Yeah, right, how else?
The only problem is, my parents don't know about her and probably won't anytime soon. So I definitely can't have her sent home.
The package would consist of a book, a T-shirt, and smaller gifts. But I have no idea how she's supposed to send it to me without my parents finding out.
Besides, I have no idea what the customs situation would be like. Does that even matter? Most likely. And I have no idea what I should prepare for.
