How can I force myself to be creative?

Over the past few months, I've often sat in front of my notebook for hours without writing a single word. In all that time, I've written exactly one piece for a competition and two poems. Which is far too little. How can I change that?

As others have already said, you cannot force creativity, but you can “train” and “wake” it.

Sitting in front of a notebook and doing nothing is really the dumbest thing. It’s best to write something in such a situation, or find yourself, as mentioned, input.

There are many ways to write something. You can really just write blind on it, and look what happens, but also do something specific.
You could just write a sort of summary of his life and then leave something away. In the “what-why-if?” principle. What if my cousin wasn’t born? What if I hadn’t read this book at the time, what inspired me again and again? Uzw.
Something else I just think about is the “ABC game” here you simply write to each letter the first word, which falls into one.
Depending on this, you can then do other things with this list, for example try to connect two of these words with one sentence. With apple and tree this is still quite simple, with book and amphore it is a bit more difficult.

You can’t force this kind of thing, you can write more and less, and if it doesn’t work that way, just do something else. Maybe you’ll get an idea when you’re sitting in the café, taking some friends or walking in the park. If so, write up the idea and think about it later.

Instead of forcing something, you should be open to any inspiration. Sometimes there’s a song on the radio or a set that you can catch on the street.

Creativity is hard to turn on and off. You need input so you can be creative. This means that you should not sit at home and wait for a creative fall. Go out, talk to people and watch others. This will help you more than sit at home 🙂

You don’t force that. You don’t concentrate on being creative, you’re dreaming and letting your mind flow.

So if I need new ideas for spelling or so then it’s like a flashing incident no idea how to explain it but sometimes I have a idea and then it’s for 2sek there and then away so it just comes as somehow
