How can I make money at 14?
Hello everyone
I'm 14 years old and I really want to earn money because I want to buy something. I live in a small village, so there isn't much here. I'm also not very good at school, so tutoring isn't an option. I've already applied to the local newspaper, but they turned me down. There are relatively few children in my village, so babysitting isn't an option. I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to ask my parents for that much money. There aren't any dogs in my neighborhood, so walking them isn't an option either.
I would be very happy if you could help me.

First: I find it commendable that you want to earn money yourself with work instead of expecting your parents to Give you money
Then the first question is whether your parents agree that you want to make a part of your free time for money.
Since you are “not very good at school”, it might be that your parents prefer to work for school in time, so you should at least ask them.
Under 15 your possibilities are very limited. The Youth Reserve only allows up to the 15th birthday
And in a small village the opportunities to earn a few euros are even smaller. How do you have to imagine the “village” how many people there are? Is there shops and a church?
For you it is only possible to earn money on a private basis, e.g.
– Garden work as in summer lawn mowings, in autumn leaves sweep off the walkway and in winter snow sweep if which falls
– Wash cars and clean thoroughly from the inside
– Help in the household for elderly people such as shopping, washing, hanging laundry or cleaning light cleaning, such as dust sucking or windows
– Help with renovation or resounding
– if the “Dorf” is really rural, so with animal husbandry and agriculture, maybe you could help feeding and breastfeeding
