I have a Car Play display and have connected my iPhone to my car via Bluetooth. The music plays through the car's Bluetooth, but I have to configure it so that it doesn't play through Car Play. Is there a way to configure this?

It could be on the entertainment system. Did you check the settings there?
Otherwise, I’d just disable Siri and locating services while driving. Both are needed for CarPlay. Must also go through automation.

Otherwise, I would create automation in short commands: if Bluetooth is connected to car, then play music. I’m not an expert on shortcuts.
I mean, IPhone. Keep switching from “Car Play” to the Bluetooth from my car every time.
