How high is your shopping power with Klarna?

I wouldn’t call an invoice purchase as a credit. How did one make it earlier, at times of Otto and Source catalogs? It was ordered and the goods came incl. Invoicing, which was then transferred. No one has sent the money with the order form. Why is there such a drama built up today and chased by “consumer goods on credit” just because you pay your goods after receipt?

A purchase is a purchase, no matter what goods. Car and house, or offline and online differ little.

So for me, it’s huge. A car or house is usually not bought in the online shop and has viewed it before buying, sample driven etc. and decided well to buy. This is not possible for goods in the online shop, so in contrast to offline purchases, there is the legal right of withdrawal.

I.e. Klarna has no goods and no money, but still offers a performance?

Of course Klarna has no goods, that is a bank and payment service provider. At Klarna’s purchase, Klarna spends the money for you and you have 30 days to pay your bill to Klarna. Return goods to the dealer, informs this Klarna and your invoice will be cancelled or corrected if you return parts of the order.

But if you first pay the money is gone and you have to wait for refunds. If you first catch the goods, you simply pay nothing or only the corrected invoice for a return. The dealer has his security from Klarna, who assumes the credit risk. The dealer always gets his money right away, Klarna goes here in advance. This is the advantage for both sides. You also have buyer protection. The purchase from the car or house is now something completely different than an order in the online shop.
