How would you have reacted and is she right?

Hello, I was cycling with a friend today, and then we stopped at the bus stop in his neighborhood. There were some nuts lying on the ground, and we wanted to take them with us. Then a woman came over and started ranting and said that the bus stop and the nuts belonged to her property. What would you have said to that woman? And can a bus stop really belong to a property?

I would have collected the nuts and had gone wordless.

You can really exaggerate it – and the bus stop cannot be their property.

Maybe the woman has a damage and can’t really do something for it.

I don’t think a bus stop belongs to their property. I would, however, never collect nuts or other things from the soil or forest, but rather buy in the shop where you can make sure that the things are also edible. You can be mistaken and quickly if you can collect nuts 🥜 or mushrooms 🍄. Better from the shop where you can be sure they are edible. It’s just a tip from me.

In nuts there are hardly any possibilities for confusion. I’ll collect them wherever they’re public.

In the case of mushrooms, I must make sure that I really pick up the edible varieties known to me, the rest remains.

Be sure – the bus stop stands on a public ground – and the fruits falling there can be collected without any thought.
