Not the wheels size is crucial: it is the frame size!! It should determine how your seat position is. You better go to a specialty business and let yourself be advised. My guess: a frame size around the 50 should be o.k.. I am 176 and need 54.

A test drive is mandatory. And a good business will then adjust the wheel to you. Proper seat position, saddle height and inclination. All together determines the seat position for the purpose of use.

For mountain bikes, the frame size is also specified in in inches.

The frame heights at the trekking/touring bike, racing bike or mountain bike also differ. That’s right, just go to a specialist store. Also because the right frame height for the future Radel experience is simply the most important.

Well. In order to make my wife’s old, disassembled lady’s bike fit again, I put a long saddle support on it so that I can take it well. Luckily, I had a matching one. I had a gifted old racing saddle lying around. Result: Not only is the wheel again topfit, I now heels around with it. It fits perfectly and goes off like nothing.

I also see the test drive before the specialist business critical. A bike is not a sofa. What does it take when it’s comfortable, but you don’t get up with it? The seller often has other things in his head. He wants to serve the most idiotic wishes of customers with the highest possible price.

Well, with a specialist store, I didn’t mean a chain that just wants to sell. I meant a specialist business. Sure, everybody wants to sell. – however, there is advice and just a test drive as well as after the purchase the adjustment of the wheel is extremely important. Many things are better from outside. And who has a bite of idea about it can make the adjustment for a friend. – But this includes the knowledge about the basic things about cycling. However, I see a purchase on the Internet critical. : there is no one who can observe everything from outside and then adjust the wheel. I don’t know. In addition to the height of the saddle support, it is also important to see how far the saddle has to be moved forwards or backwards in order to enable optimum power transmission. To this end, the same with the preliminary construction: how high, which preliminary construction of the length, the inclination of the handlebar. All factors together determine how well you feel on the bike, how long you can hold it or better: how far you can drive it. Of course, an MTB has different requirements than a travel bike. Or a race bike. And that on both circuit and geometry.
