How great is the power of thoughts?

How much influence can you have on your quality of life if you make an effort to recognize and break recurring negative thought patterns, instead of dwelling on your supposed or actual unfortunate fate over and over again? Sometimes this takes on pathological traits for me, and it doesn't get me anywhere. Can you achieve long-term success and stabilize your psyche somewhat simply by being optimistic?

Today it worked, but it could just have been a coincidence that it was a stable day. (Sorry if that sounded confusing. I'm tired and can't concentrate.)

That can work very well. But whether it works without the end is still open. But there is reason for optimism.

The reason for optimism is because the power of thoughts can often cause miracles.

This is, of course, a process and does not go straight from now on.
What helps to make conscious what is responsible for negative thoughts and possibly to change some things.

(more difficult to answer if you don’t know what this is for negative thoughts)

If you can’t do anything about it, you have to clear up the prayer of serenity (you can google).
In addition, every situation has something positive and one should focus on it.

By the way, sport also helps to dispel negative thoughts.
You don’t say that sport is good for body and mind.

However, no one has only positive thoughts, these belong to human beings and one has to accept that.

After every day rain follows at some point a sunny, so far..

edit: Thoughts are the key to a happier life. In this respect the power of thought is immense

It is more effective to think realistically, to accept the possible and make the best of it. Compulsory optimism inevitably leads to disappointments. Rhetorically asked: Why upset or annoy what is not to change? Accept and change the things you can change (for yourself). You’re welcome to win. Protects forces and nerves. This lasts until your own balance is found, and then it takes again until it can be maintained over long distances, and then it takes again until the correct measure in the memory is filled up and automatically refilled, and then also interference sources and robbers must be able to be defensive, which takes place until such a mental fortress is built up and can be classified as (crisis)safe. And not everyone comes rich in the world and can afford everything, speak metaphorically. Hard work and all that, metaphorically speaking.

Yeah, that works. I’ve been doing every day for years…

had never had a downphase or something. Just a little control over itself causes a lot

I find strange that people here in the West have no control over their thoughts. Basically, you can interrupt the inner monologue by ignoring any object your attention.

You can perceive and identify negative beliefs as a twist or confusion. It’s a feeling that something’s wrong. If you dedicate your attention to it, all of it volatilizes after a few minutes.. You can clean up a lot with a little exercise.

Yes, if the problems are real, there are probably more than false beliefs.

It is called one needs three to five good thoughts to balance a bad thought. Maybe this will help you as an orientation how much good and bad thoughts you rob the day

Find at least one that is at least neutral to halfway positive and think about it a minute. And if you get distracted, start the minute again.

It should be possible.

It is important that you are not your thoughts. And don’t identify you with his inner critic. It is also said that the person deals with 90% of the thoughts of the lecture I don’t have the head anymore. But I can recommend you joe dispenza is a super guide book and also makes great videos on Youtube
