What is the best way to deal with a car accident?

Hello,

I've had my driver's license since 2015 and have never really had a serious accident, just parking lot accidents and once at a traffic light, but they weren't that bad and I was never the one who caused the accident. I always let the people drive on because nothing really happened. I've actually only had one bad experience so far, with two grandmothers, and well, they slightly bumped into my parked car as I was reversing, and when I got out to take a look, the two wanted to drive on. When I tried to point this out in a nice way, they laughed at me and said, "Hahah, definitely," and then they just drove off. I did take a photo of the license plate, but like I said, there wasn't really anything to see.

That was with my old 2004 BMW, though. Now I'm about to sign up for a car subscription, and things are obviously a little different there. So I wanted to describe the following situation, and I hope experienced people can write to me and tell me how to proceed.

So I would first like to know your procedure in the case of a normal accident.

Situation 1:

-You come back from shopping and find a scratch and don't know where it came from or how it happened.

Situation 2:

-Someone drives into you and they drive away and you have no data.

Situation 3:

Someone can easily get to your car and find a small, minimal scratch. Should I call the police, or how do I go about it? I mean, a minimal scratch doesn't look that bad, but I'll end up having to pay for it again.

Many thanks for the answers

Some parking places have cameras, maybe there’s something on it. And I’d depend on how much the damage is. I think about 50euro, the police would try to find out. And unauthorized removal from the accident site is punished quite sensitively. This should be avoided, especially because it is really annoying for others.

Huhu,

Every time you pull the police, it doesn’t even have to stress the hurricane.

  1. to live
  2. Describe license plates, display.
  3. Let the police take up and report to the insurance company. No 20 minutes.

For all damages over 20€, the police are called and subject is eaten, someone drives against my car and then from then follows the ad for driver curse.
