How do I go about buying a car?

Hi everyone, I'd like to buy a 2005 BMW 1 Series with 116 hp that's already done about 140,000 km. This will be my first car, so I have absolutely no idea. The car is deregistered, so I wanted to ask what I should do and what's advisable? How do I get it transported (I once heard something about a 5-day license plate; what do I need for that?). Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea how to go about this or what I should check when buying it. Unfortunately, I don't have a specialist available… Would it be advisable to take it to the MOT, even though it has a new MOT? I'd appreciate your answers 🙂

You could go to the used car check. DEKRA or TÃœV offer this.

Usually the seller should not mind. If so, it’s suspicious.

In addition, you should check all the functionalities extensively and also check the Service Issue or old TÃœV reports.

if you really don’t have a plan then you have a look at the car buy-out,

otherwise generally watch how rusty it is, etc.

Gives so little tricks where you notice anything wrong e.g. oil lid is unscrewed there is such a small wise slim in it means e.g. nothing good etc.

but otherwise check allgemienes, work disc wipers? window works? etc

if he says why is not necessary and blah I would say good thank you look again
