First of all, the risk of DCS (decompression sickness) is extremely low when diving. The most common uses are in flat water <10m. You should stay down hours before DCS is really a topic. Before you get out of your own, because either your reserve has been reached, or you're freeing the popo.

On the subject of reserve: before any manager just thinks about it, you have to do your training and your mandatory diving hours. Until you get that behind you, it’s already turned over to the reserve in meat and blood. In addition, when the reserve is reached, the air is not suddenly completely gone. The resurrection only increases so you can see that you only have 50 bar. In the low depths where you’re on the way, you just show up.

Greater danger is more likely to be avoided when diving. So it’s like things that can’t be seen anymore. For this, however, there is the backup diver and you are connected to the surface by voice radio and leash. In addition, one (or more) cutting tools is of course also provided in order to cut free in an emergency.

Of course, the psychological component cannot be denied. Use diver saves rarely, but only recover. This is often only material recovery, but it will also happen here and there that you have to get drowned. This can also be young people or children. Such a thing is not for everyone and should be considered well.

Hello, it’s a bit different from sports diving. You mustn’t be afraid, respect. If you consider it too dangerous for you and you could panic, it might not be right for you!
