In Austria you need a vignette. They are classic as an adhesive vignette, but also the Digital Vignette.

Costs are equal

The Digital Vignette can be opened https://shop.asfinag.at/ or buy at ADAC. You have to buy them online at least 18 days before, as it takes 18 days to activate. This is due to the e-commerce law when you buy the digital vignette at ADAC, it can be activated immediately. The adhesive vignette can be bought classically at the sales points such as petrol station, ADAC, and Co.

There are also special toll routes in some places:

https://www.asfinag.at/maut-vignette/route toll/

If you want more information about the special toll routes, please refer to which motorway you will drive in Ö.

Slovenia also gives a vignette, all info here: https://www.adac.de/reise-freizeit/maut-vignette/slowenien/

Croatia has toll stations.

You don’t have to call to get the information: “The toll is paid at toll stations”

Before crossing the border there are at the stations to buy Vignetten for the respective country.

Buy – as described on the instructions stick to the windshield

https://www.kroati.de/kroatien-infos/mautgebuehren.html

In Croatia, fees are paid after km to toll stations – no vignettes.

You don’t have to be ADAC member!

Just buy it at a resting place in front of the respective national borders.

Austria unf Slovenia quasi, Croatia itself has no vignettes.

The toll!

But what do you think?

You can go to every tank and pay for it at the border with Austria. There is no vignette anymore. You enter your car code and they will unlock you for the paid period.

You pay the Croatian toll at the toll stations.

There are still vignettes for Austria, from 2 weeks ago only there. On the border were massive people to buy vignettes.

I went through to Italy a month ago and wanted to buy IN Austria at the tank. I had to specify and pay the license plate. She put it in the system, gave me a cash sum and said: It is now all online, you don’t need to glue any more to the windshield.

Yes, you can buy vignettes for the country behind the border in front of each border. Order online beforehand.

License plates are only important in the digital method.

He’s wrong.

That was also my opinion. But Funfroc insists that there is no more “analogous” vignette.

It goes digital and adhesive, depending on how the customer wants.

I wonder why I could buy one, as well as other acquaintances who are currently in Austria…

Of course, this is implemented everywhere.

No one stands for the purchase of the vignette – but for the payment of the toll, gives its license plate, it is registered and you continue to drive without sticks in the disc.

I guess I got that.

Since I drove over the long distance pass and only in the Inntal on the highway, I bought the electronic “Vignette” in Tyrol during the fuel tank.

Interesting. This innovation is probably not yet implemented everywhere.
