How do you insert a tampon correctly?

Hi, I'm 16 and have had my period since I was 13 but have never used tampons.

I'm just scared, and it won't work because it hurts. I've heard that you have to insert it at an upward angle, so that it goes right into the anus or towards the clitoris? Which side?

Hi :-

In the beginning I had my difficulties with the introduction of a tampon, but with time you get a feeling for it and once you have the technique, it is no problem anymore;-)

A problem why it couldn’t have worked out that you tried to introduce the tampon while your days were just too weak. As a result, your vagina is naturally much more dry and the tampon has much more friction from your vaginal wall, which naturally leads to pain. So try it again the next time you really have your period.

I would definitely advise you to mini-tampons first. From o.b. there are those who are especially suitable for young girls / women and I can highly recommend you:http://www.ob.de/procomfortr-0

But how exactly does this work with introduction?

There are different positions that can facilitate the insertion of the tampon. One way, for example, would be if you put a leg on the edge of the bathtub. You could also help if you were lying flat on your back on a comfortable base or in your bed and would try to introduce the tampon. The third possibility would be the position in the hockey. To have a closer look, you can also use a small hand mirror for help. That sometimes a little bit twitches when inserting the tampon is quite normal. You shouldn’t have severe pain. So try to practice carefully if you should have your days next time. If you feel that it should not go any further, try to change the direction; but only if you have no severe pain. You need, just at the beginning, a lot of patience and a little fingertip feeling. You can’t leave your head in any case just because it didn’t work right away at the beginning. It takes some time and exercise until it works and it will sooner or later also do with you. At any rate try to be relaxed and breathe deep beforehand. This often helps miracles;-)

Maybe the video on this link can help you.

Sometimes it’s just a head thing that doesn’t work right now. Do not try to put yourself under stress and pressure too much, because it often works the least. I’m sure it’ll work with you soon too:-)

I hope I could help you a bit and wish you all the best! If you have any questions or need help, you can send me a friend request at any time and send me a personal message ๐Ÿ™‚

After the pip make with some water wash, dry with kitchen rolls (to not constantly dirty the towel), put the tampon (mini, not normal) some cream ( perfume-free cream), then put a leg on the edge of the bathtub and introduce the tampon. It goes without saying that the thread on the side and let it hang out. The tampon should be inserted relatively deep and not too far towards Po, nor too far forward. The right position is assumed by itself. I recommend putting a piece of kitchen roll between the labia so that the paper catches the blood that passes. Then make a narrow tie in the underpants. Sure is safe. The underpants must be wide enough and must not be too far so that the bandage sits well.

It’s easier with cream. Don’t let yourself be told by people who have no idea

I’ve never claimed this, but the chance I’m counting here the Bulls**** is lower than with untested users

You’re writing nonsense, I haven’t read it through. Maybe a conversation with a doctor could help you

No, you shouldn’t, either not perfume-free.

Most creams are not suitable for mucous membranes and contain substances that do not do well or even destroy them and the vaginal flora is important. It may be that it doesn’t matter to you, but others might cause unpleasant damage. Just imagine that you would have to put the cream in your mouth and swallow it down if you could just do this without getting belly pain then the cream is also ok for the vagina.

Also the petroleum-based vaseline is not good, it blocks the pores and closes the surface of the mucous membrane. All this prevents the work of the immune system of the vagina and that gives infections and fungi free path.

So if you really want to do cream on it, it would really be advisable to get creams or ointments that you can apply on mucous membranes. The best of course are the extra for the vagina. But do not recommend this to other users. You don’t know how others react.

Hello

At first it is important that you are relaxed. When all your hair gets dressed in the Tampon theme, you should overcome your fear because otherwise it won’t work. If you are relaxed, also leave the muscles completely loose and the tampon does not hurt when introduced.

If you can then relax, I recommend starting with a Mini Tampon. If you have your days, please wash your hands first (preferably before the introduction).

Then find yourself a position that seems most pleasant to you (in sitting, standing, in the hockey, a leg placed on the toilet bowl etc.)

When you insert, you press the tampon first as far as it is no longer possible. If you already feel a resistance after a few centimeters then press it easily To the rear because then the uterus runs. If no matter what direction you push it, the resistance is still there and the tampon does not go any further, then probably your muscles will be tensioned because you are afraid again or you are subconsciously opposed to it.

If you don’t feel him anymore, he’s right. Then it’s just to get him out after 8 hours.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I hope I could help you ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Good luck ๐Ÿ€

I started using tampons relatively early (with 13 years ) and I am currently 16 years old. Many of my friends only use ties because they fear that the tampon thread could be lost. So I can assure you that this is very unlikely because they’re long and the tampon can’t slip.

I introduced the tampons to feel:

  1. Pull the thread
  2. Take the tampon with two fingers in the end
  3. Take him slowly straight
  4. Put it around. 1-2 cm in your vagina

Before and after, of course, you should wash your hands to protect yourself from infections and what is very important is that the tampon is just right when you don’t feel it anymore. In addition, I recommend using a thin band if you should run out and you don’t have a sense of change:)

When I introduce, I don’t think you’re supposed to introduce him only 1-2cm. You introduce him completely and the end of the tampons should be so ca. 1-2cm from the gate ๐Ÿ™‚ Which is the right thing to introduce my tampon is not so important to me. I’m just pushing him deep enough until he can’t feel anymore. You can try it yourself.

Try to introduce the oblique direction Po and another time obliquely towards Kitzler. As it doesn’t hurt, it’s right. And as I said, do not use โ€œnormalโ€, but use โ€œminiโ€ and make perfume-free cream on it
