Hey,

So first of all, a few days before the insertion, you usually get four rubbers inserted into the tooth interspaces to the jaw teeth so that these interspaces increase. It pulls something and can hurt a bit, but that’s different from person to person.
Then the rubbers (see above) are removed again on the day of insertion and then a metal part is attached around your rearmost jaw teeth, which does not hurt. Then the teeth are coarsely cleaned again and then the brackets are glued on, which will not cause any pain. Now your orthodontic jaw pushes a wire through the brackets, which is then usually replaced during each visit (and possibly a stronger wire is used). This step doesn’t hurt at first, but after a certain time, it can cause severe pain, which is why I would definitely eat many soups, cool things or hard stuff.
After the chip has been used, you have to come to the control date about every 5-6 weeks.
The procedure can differ from orthodontic orthodontics to orthodontic orthodontics, but the steps are actually (almost) identical.
I hope my answer will help you!

Best regards
