What does soap do in water?
I know, it probably sounds like a pretty banal question. But all I can find online is "how soap cleanses the skin," or at best, what soap is made of. I'd like to know how soap works in water. It destroys surface tension—I think we all know that. Still, tap water might contain salt or…

Ammonia smell in your nose?
ByCSpeed
Hello, sometimes when I breathe in too deeply through my nose I smell a strong ammonia odor, no matter where I am or what I'm doing, sometimes it just comes… during my training I once accidentally inhaled 25% strong ammonia solution, had the container right under my nose and opened it (not under the extractor…
Then I would write something like that
Zn + ZnSO4 -X->
So almost such a crossed arrow
Okay, thanks.
So in the oxidation then so: Zn -X->
and in the case of reduction: Zn(2+) + 2e + SO4(2-) , or the 2e is left out in the reduction, because zinc does not yield anything
Since nothing happens anyway, you do not need to write oxidation or reduction. There are no electrons anyway, then you can’t just write them.
The question makes no sense. Give it an example task? What do you mean?
So, for example, zinc and zinc sulfate do not react and we are supposed to write this up now in a reaction equation, but I do not know how to do that if none takes place
Zinc and zinc sulfate do not react. It could be at most if you have two half cells that in one the zinc sulfate solution is less concentrated, i.e. the amount of substance in a container is less. The system then tends to equalize ions and as a result an electric current or a RedOx reaction occurs.
