All right. Nowadays, you can equip yourself with such transmitters. These “great collars” do not interfere with the animals and help to catalogue walking routes and/or hunting areas and keep an eye on health.

And sometimes they throw up even bigger puzzles, which are then to explore. I mean, who doesn’t know the story about Shark Alpha?

Not all researchers do that, and not “always” with “great collars”. There, where it makes sense from research and in the sense of species protection, I support that.

We always have to explore everything. I think it’s terrible for the animals to hang around the neck. And to capture them and cause a huge stress.

I also wonder why such huge things are often used. Nowadays there are certain other solutions that are not so disturbing.

If it helps to secure the survival of an animal by such observations, I find that good.

I’m very good.

The transmitters are usually only a few grams heavy and are attached with thin ribbons

It’s not that bad that can’t be with the rumbling. This is very useful for research purposes.
