What do you think of the Galgo dog breed?

Hi,

I recently fell in love with the Galgo breed. 🥰 What are their temperaments like? And do you think it would be okay to socialize a Galgo with a livestock guardian dog? We have one at home; he's very sweet and rather ignorant of other dogs, which is supposed to be a good thing. We're currently considering getting a second dog. Does anyone have Galgos at home and can share their experience?

I could also imagine becoming a foster home for a Galgo.

One of our dogs was a galgo. Find the Galgos are very beautiful dogs. And that with the other dog, I don’t think it’s a problem.

We had a Saluki, Galgo and a rocket now just a little bit small waffle haha. She’s very scary and I know all of our other dogs were more shy at the time.

Galgos, like all the dogs, are very sensitive independent hunters who do not wear hard hands. The central question is whether you want a galgo from an FCI breeding, or an animal welfare galgo.
