I just had a letter from the Sparkasse in my mailbox, a balance statement. Savings deposit account balance on December 13, 2023 +24.92 euros. The thing is, I haven't been a member of the Sparkasse for over 15 years. What exactly is that?

Hi, When I apply for a credit card at Hanseatic Bank, I am asked for a desired amount. What happens if I continue clicking without specifying the amount?

Will there ever be a digital euro?
Do you think that cash will be abolished and a digital currency will be introduced instead? If so, when do you think this might happen? If not, why not?

I would always use a direct comparison of certain products or services to evaluate the services, e.g. a current or daily money account comparison. Here you can compare conditions within the categorie. For a current account comparison, e.g., card conditions, fees for online payment, withdrawal in Germany and abroad, etc.
Personally, I can recommend Consorsbank, primarily the securities deposit offer.
I’m neutral with every bank. I’m with the Commerzbank myself.
